The CADS Calgary Ski School offers an annual series of two-hour lessons that run from January to March typically on Sunday evenings from 7-9 pm at Canada Olympic Park. There may be occasional Saturday lesson nights also.
Students learn to ski or snowboard using adaptive equipment and strategies that follow CSIA and CASI progression and skill development. Ultimately, our goal is to help our students become proficient enough to ski or board with family and friends on their own time!
Lessons are taught by volunteer instructors who have completed the CADS training program; many are also certified CADS, CSIA or CASI instructors. Most new students receive one-on-one instruction however, over time, many move on to small group instruction as their skills progress. For our advanced students, mountain day trips, racing and ski club opportunities are also available.
We take great care in the student-instructor matching process to ensure that each student receives the individual attention they need to enjoy their skiing or snowboarding experience and to have fun while learning these skills.
