Accessible Housing

In 2018, eight wonderful homes were a part of our Wheelchair Accessible Home Renovation Tour. From houses currently undergoing changes to homes that have already been fully renovated, the tour provides a wide range of home accommodation options for you to view. Building and Renovation Guide

ARK is pleased to provide home accessibility renovations to qualifying families who have children with mobility challenges. Our goal is to ease the daily life of children and their families who struggle with managing basic day-to-day movement within their home. Families may be nominated for an ARK renovation if they have a child under 25 years old who has mobility challenges and they own their home. Nominations are always open for submission and are reviewed for selection every few months. Our hope is to complete a minimum of two renovations per year. A nomination form and more detailed information is provided on the website.
